Simone Bile’s husband Jonathan Owens’s recent decision to be a part of the Green Bay Packers team left fans in a frenzy. After agreeing to a contract to play as a safety for the Packers, Owens journeyed to Green Bay, Wisconsin to train with his new team. Recently, Owens announced exciting news for young athletes.
The NFL star is collaborating with the non-profit venture Bamfam Foundation for this special initiative. Evamor, Raisin Cane’s, and Securico Life Insurance company are sponsors of this amazing gesture for young athletes. What makes it more exciting is that this event is entirely free for budding athletes.
Jonathan Owens’s memorable gesture for aspiring players
The NFL star updated fans through his recent post of a camp that will be held on 9th July, Sunday for children from 5th grade to 12th grade. He captioned this post, “My second annual FREE football camp!! Back in my hometown…” Kids in this camp will have an opportunity to learn and be mentored by NFL safety Jonathan Owens.
This camp will be held at Christian Brothers College in St Louis, Missouri. Interestingly, this is the same college where he completed his education. The time of this camp is from 12 pm to 3 pm. Since the Bamfam Foundation organizes camps that accommodate 300 kids, many young kids can get the opportunity to enhance their skills through this camp. Russel Athletic, a popular apparel brand has also partnered with the Bamfam Foundation to organize this event.
Enthusiastic about this camp, Owens also added a link to his Instagram bio so that interested athletes can register for the free camp. The link will be open for registrations 48 hours before the camp date. Bamfam Foundation also hinted at walk-up registrations available onsite at Christian Brothers College before the event begins.
Responding to this update, fans appreciated and praised Owens for this effort to do something for his community.

He also exhibited his recent practice session with the Green Bay Packers on his recent Instagram Story. The images captured Owens, extremely alert on the field, coordinating and bonding with other players of the team.
