The playoffs rarely let us down and this year is no different as the Boston Celtics have staged a valiant comeback to level the series against the Miami Heat to 3-3, after losing the first three meetings.
Among those celebrating the feat of the Celtics are NFL stars Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson, who celebrated the latest result on social media.
Derrick White scored the miraculous basket with 0.1 seconds left on the clock to force a decisive Game 7 on Saturday night in the Eastern Conference finals.
The star of the night for the Celtics was Jayson Tatum, who netted 31 points, while Jaylen Brown also did his bit with an impressive 26 as well as Marcus Smart who added 21 for the Boston side.
The sporting world watched on in excitement as the events unfolded, particularly stars of NFL.
Mahomes, of the Kansas City Chiefs, wrote: “Crazy game Crazy series! Bring on game 7!”
Russell Wilson seemed lost for words, as he could only fathom the strength to write: “Wow!”
All eyes are now on Game 7 which takes place on Monday, and that will be on home soil for the Celtics who could pull off one of the greatest comebacks in history.
