Patrick Mahomes’ Reveals other secret talent: Real estate,After he signed a contract

On the field of play, Patrick Mahomes has a football legacy, and he’s creating a helluva empire from it.

The star quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs is making good use of his generational fortune after signing a 10-year, $503 million contract a few years ago. The 27-year-old has bought four different homes, which are now valued at $8 million altogether.

Two are residences in Missouri, one is an empty lot there, and the third-likely his most valuable-is a palace in Texas.

However, if he continues at this rate, there is no doubt that this is only the beginning of his real estate investments. And he has ample resources to achieve it.

Kansas City condo
Mahomes’ first property, which he bought in 2017 before he began earning hundreds of millions of dollars, is nothing special.

It’s a cute little 2-3 condo in Kansas City, as you can see above, that was first advertised for $475,000. However, because that’s what stars do, Mahomes was able to purchase the 1,800 square foot bachelor pad for $350,000.

Big time athletes make big time plays in big time games, as Santana Moss once quipped. The pad’s current estimated value is roughly $500,000, by the way.

Kansas City main house
Mahomes spent $1.8 million on a three-bedroom, four-bathroom property in Kansas City in January 2019. The building is about 4,300 square feet in size and sits on 1.4 acres of ground.

Mahomes was able to purchase it in March 2020 for $3.37 million, which is $890,000 less than the asking price of $4.26 million.

During the off-season, Mahomes occupies this residence. The quarterback was bred in Texas, played football and baseball at Texas Tech University, and guided his squad to five straight AFC Championship Games.
