Trinity Thomas is a rising name in the gymnastics world. In recent years, Thomas has shown some spell-bounding performances at the collegiate level. Such has been the impact that though the 22-year-old hasn’t given elite gymnastics a shot yet, she has been dubbed the ‘next Simone Biles.’ At the 2022 NCAA, with her college life coming to an end, Thomas was close to saying goodbye to her college gymnastics career with three gold and one silver medal in her arsenal. However, having started her master’s studies, Thomas now has one last shot at the 2023 NCAA. And as always, Trinity Thomas stunned the world and even created a record with her performance.
Rachel Moore was a level-7 gymnast competing for the Bannons. Ever since she was 6 years old, she trained at the same center as the gymnastics queen Simone Biles. Though she parted ways from the sport 10 years later, she is still as close to Biles and gymnastics as she can be. Though not a gymnast anymore, Moore keeps a tab on what’s happening in the gymnastics world and often hypes up the athletes.
Recently, when Trinity Thomas created a record at the 2023 NCAA, Moore shared her reaction to the news through her Instagram. Florida Gators Gymnastics, Thomas’s team, shared the video capturing the gymnast moments after she finished her “last chomp.” Reposting the video on her story, Moore wrote, “love you trin🏿 so incredibly proud of you🤍.”
Congratulating the gymnast, one fan commented, “You are amazing!! Huge congratulations @gymtrin 💙🧡💙🧡.” Proud of her achievements, another one added, “Trin, you have sure made York County very proud! Congrats on an outstanding career 💙🧡.”
Through the five seasons, Thomas has received 5 perfect 10s on bars, 5 on bars, 6 on beam, and 12 on vault. This sums up her exceptional 28 perfect 10s. It would be interesting to see what the gymnast will do with her gymnastics career next. Will this be the end of her career or will she make her elite debut?
