Be it an on-court ace or an entrepreneurial demigod, Venus Williams is an overachiever. EleVen is tennis legend Venus William’s fashion corner where style meets comfort, and ordinary becomes cool and hip. Announcing a special offer with a masterstroke, Venus’s witty end spurred up a smart ad featuring a vintage image-turned-meme. When we talk vintage and witty, sister Serena can’t be left behind. And that is exactly what happened.
The brand’s official Instagram handle shared a funny meme to announce a special discount. The post generated quite a few laughs. Even Venus’ younger sister, Serena, could not stop herself from sending her love to Venus.
Venus turns her vintage picture with sister Serena Williams into a meme!
In the Instagram post, Venus shared an image of herself and her sister, Serena Williams, from the 1990s. Serena, on the right, has a smile on her face as she touches Venus’ left arm. Above Serena’s head, the image features a ‘30% off sitewide’ text. Venus, with an ecstatic expression, captures the excitement of shoppers with the text “me.”
The post was captioned, “@venuswilliams is our mood! Shop %30 off sitewide until 4/23 – hurrah before your fav styles are gone!✨”
The meme-style post got some hilarious reactions, and even Serena couldn’t stop herself from loving it. The younger Williams sister later shared the same post in her Instagram Story, tagging her sister’s fashion brand alongside a love emoticon.
Serena’s husband and Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian, too reached out in the comment section, and said, “How have I just now seen this amazing photo???”
The official handle of the Women’s Tennis Association took a pause to take a bow to the legends, “🤩🙌” Take a look at the promo here.

Business is booming for the Williams sisters
‘EleVen by Venus’ is one of the multiple business projects that the Williams sisters are engaged in right now. The two sisters are also the shareholders and brand ambassadors of the France-based investment platform Shares, which recently announced it would be commencing operations in Belgium. Venus Williams also co-founded an interior design firm V-Starr Interiors. Moreover, her love for healthy eating facilitated her decision to invest in Jamba Juice as well.
Serena Williams is also turning out to be quite the businesswoman. Over recent years, Serena has invested in gym equipment manufacturing firm Tonal and the online learning platform MasterClass.
